We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Product Manager
Business: Wealth & Personal Banking IT
Principal responsibilities
•Lead and own the analysis, design, development, and implementation of key digital journeys for HSBC Global Private Banking & Wealth.
•Collaborate across GPB&W Sub Value Streams and with other WPB Value Streams as appropriate to register and prioritise demand for enhancements to Wealth Hub, identifying synergies and other opportunities to develop scalable solutions that can meet the needs of multiple stakeholders.
•Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
•Have a deep understanding of the Global Private Banking & Wealth technology estate to ensure that solutions can be seamlessly integrated with existing platforms.
•Ensure that software solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
•Identify opportunities to streamline development practices as we converge legacy Wealth and Private Bank solutions and advance our transformation to a product focussed team construct.
•Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring that best practices are followed.
•Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure that software solutions are integrated with other systems and platforms.
Requirements
Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications
•Prior software development and implementation experience, with demonstrable practice developing digital solutions in a private banking and wealth context.
•Private banking and wealth domain knowledge, including familiarity with investment lifecycles, direct-to-consumer, advisory and discretionary wealth management offerings.
•Practical experience developing solutions aligned to HSBC’s Global Private Banking & Wealth engineering standards, with hands on experience delivering digital journeys on the HSBC Mobile Platform and on the web.
•Intimate knowledge of HSBC’s Private Banking and Wealth product offering, including Wealth View, Wealth Dashboard, Apexa and their underlying infrastructure.
•Business analysis and/or technical product management experience, including the definition and refinement of product roadmaps to deliver on defined business objectives.
•Ability to define and deliver compelling digital investment solutions across channels (incl. web and mobile).
•Comfortable leading globally distributed teams across time zones.
•Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt verbal and written communications to the appropriate audience and communicate at the right level depending on audience.
•Technical and business stakeholder management from developers to executive management.
•Comfortable working with ambiguity and conducting research as well as working with third party vendor(s).
•Strategic thinker able to drive business decisions, considering relevant risks, long term implications, commercial realities, and stakeholder needs.
•Start-up entrepreneurship with experience of a complete product lifecycle.
