We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer.

Principal responsibilities
The job holder will have to perform the following duties:
- Involvement in reviewing requirements, work with different interface parties/users to identify the approach and work out project plan for applications.
- Support the internal and external audit control from various audit parties.
- Develop and implement IT solutions to meet business users’ requirements or Production defect fixes.
- Ability to build strong relationships with All levels stakeholders, application teams, cross functional IT and global/local IT teams.
- Take ownership and accountability for production incidents, in terms of timely communication, escalation and incident hygiene.
- Identify potential system improvements and explain their benefits.
- Automate support processes to minimize manual intervention and ensure predictable high quality code and data.
- Continuously contribute to code, ensuring compliance with all relevant controls and standards including relevant Service Management Standard.
- Lead production incident reviews for the team.
- Provide daily global production service quality, problem and recovery management, and platform availability, facilitating changes, identifying, acknowledging and preventing risks.
- Provide the application support to production and work with business users and the operation teams on the query in the production application.
- Provide level 1/2 support to the production services. (e.g. Incident/release management, request fulfilment).
- Monitor the healthiness of Production systems and recover the systems as quickly as possible when incidents occur.
- Analyse and trouble-shoot all kind of Production system issues.
- Analyse and resolve issues/requests from business users and operation teams.
- Communicate with business users, operation teams and production support managers to report system status.
- Document support procedures and system knowledge for knowledge management in a global scale.
- Guide the teammates for the technical knowledge and domain knowledge.
Requirements
- 3+ years exposure to Mainframe design and development.
- Have analysis and trouble shooting experience for minimum 3 year.
- Deep in thought and meticulous, and could spot out inconsistency and issues from instruction or requirement.
- Fast turnaround with outstanding quality output even for complex assignments.
- Dependable and capable of working independently with excellent quality, even under challenging schedule.
- Strong Production support, Incident management, Problem management skills.
- Fast learner and able to handle multiple tasks positively and effectively, with good time management.
- Strong risk management and mitigation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with all levels stakeholders.
- Strong written, spoken and listening English.
- Ability of working in production support role in L1/L2 manner.
