What you’ll do:


  • Report to Global Head of Insurance Operations, this individual is responsible in driving efficiency gains and cost improvement through the digital transformation agenda by automating, digitizing and optimizing current processes.
  • Lead and manage transformation programmes / projects for Underwriting and Claims.
  • Provide PMO support to monitor, manage and govern Global Insurance strategy & transformation programs / initiatives
  • Proactively take part and support ad-hoc projects of strategic nature (Growth Agenda, New Set-up, Migration, expansion of Insurance Operations foot print in GSC)
  • Develop Insurance Centre of Excellence to standardize best practice for wide-scale adoption and provide thought leadership and directions in Operations.
  • Provide consultancy, design and delivery services to lines of business and functions at different stages of transformation cycle
  • Build healthy working relationships with Global and Country stakeholders based on trust and display role model qualities
  • Ongoing support of the insurance distribution operations and reporting requirements.

What you will need to succeed in the role:


  • University graduate in related disciplines or other relevant qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in Underwriting, Claims, business consultancy and/or project management, preferably in a financial institution or consultancy firm
  • Knowledge / capability in underwriting will be an asset
  • Proven record of effective project and program management, including project planning and decision making, identifying priorities, enforcing program governance, managing resources, management reporting and bringing a wide range of projects to successful completion
  • Being proactive, innovative, with good project management, communication and analytical skills
  • Proven leadership and relationship management skills in dealing with all levels as well as the confidence to interact with senior management
