We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Vice President, Leveraged and Acquisition Finance.
Principal Responsibilities
In this role you will
- Take the lead in origination, execution and provide support in terms of loan distribution, for corporate flow and event driven financings within the Leveraged and Acquisition Finance team
- Assist with credit processing, execution and distribution of Leveraged Acquisition Finance related business opportunities
- Management and support of the development and enhancement of corporate and financial sponsor client relationships
- Take the lead in the deal process and provide guidance to the deal team, to ensure smooth collaboration with all Corporate and Institutional Banking and Commercial Banking partners to service the client
- Assist the deal team leader in delivery of consistent pricing and structural guidance across product and transaction spectrum
- Demonstrate clear awareness of the operational and reputational risk associated with the loan products and take accountability for minimizing Group exposure to risk
Requirements
To be successful you will need
- Proven track record and ability to process origination, credit applications, execution and distribution of corporate flow, corporate acquisition, sponsor acquisition, leveraged buyout transactions
- Solid understanding of risk management and risk mitigation
- Knowledgeable in credit and financial analysis including pricing dynamics
- Proficient in English, Mandarin and Cantonese, with strong writing, communication and presentation skills
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with detailed-oriented, problem-solving capabilities
- Good interpersonal skills, articulate and self-assured with an ability to interact with different levels of clients
- Self-motivated, committed to work, pleasant, stable and mature
