As the VP of Wholesale Credit Approval, you will be part of the team that reviews and approves wholesale credit applications and transactions across all FIG and Fund client & business types within a delegated credit authority. You will drive attainment of functional/functional unit results and co-coordinate and manage several complex projects.

You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting and embedding change initiatives, identifying and developing new or improved delivery mechanisms
  • Delivery of end results and contributing to planning, finances, budget and policy development
  • Acting as escalation point for complex issues
  • Representing the credit approval team on key matters relating to the bank’s hedge fund business
  • Contributing to the FIG and Fund team’s approach to Global Markets counterparty risk matters
Requirements

Employment eligibility to work with HSBC in the U.S. is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.

 

  • Proven experience in credit analysis of hedge funds, with solid knowledge of markets issues
  • Comfort with basic quantitative techniques used to measure as well as stress exposure to stress hedge funds and familiarity with products typically associated with hedge funds
