We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Customer Propositions Operations Manager.

Principal Responsibilities 
  • Overlook Foreign Exchange (FX) Cash Issuance related activities ensuring sufficient Foreign Currency (FCY) cash float is maintained in the branch network for customer issuance, in line with regulatory framework and internal guidelines. 
  • To lead, direct and co-ordinate the proposition business activities primarily of International, FX and Insurance in line with business strategy.
  • Deliver insurance solutions to our customers and maintain relationship with Insurance Partner.
  • Continually reassess all risks inherent within the Insurance business model.
  • Identify local variations and necessary tailoring of the overall proposition and products for relevance to local market, in accordance with Group standards and guidelines. 
  • Ability to manage the insurance business aligned with Bank’s new Target Operating models and management framework
  • Ability to maintain insurance risk within the prescribed limits
  • Foster Employee Banking Solutions (EBS) relationship via Corporate and institutional Banking (CIB) collaboration and lead EBS governance model
  • Action audit points and issues in a timely manner. 
Requirements 
  • Applicable for HSBC Sri Lanka staff only. 
  • Educational qualifications in business/ finance or marketing
  • Experience in IWPB front line in customer management and product knowledge.
  • Ms Excel, Ms  Power Point & analytical skills.
  • Thorough understanding of the IWPB business, regulations and risks impacting them
