The Opportunity:

  • The purpose of the role is to manage governance forums across Screening Operations, publish meeting minutes, prepare meeting agenda and all other strategic paper required for various governance forums. In addition, the role holder is required to perform data analysis, publish MI reports & manage any ad-hoc activity within the BM team.
  • Governance and Committee Memberships (membership of ExCos, Risk Management Meeting):
  • Conduct Monthly Business Review for Screening Utility & wider GPSO teams
  • Participate & share insights in WPB forum, GSC Overtime, DBS Performance Forum & ad-hoc

What you’ll do:

  • Produce analysis and commentary including supporting analysis and documentation.
  • Review and challenge monthly submissions, MIs and operating plans, potential solutions - where it potentially does not deliver in line with expectation.
  • Collect, analyze & interpret data to derive meaningful insights for the leadership & ops teams.
  • Analyze large data sets to identify key trends in business performance, operations enhancement opportunities.
  • Create & maintain process dashboard, in collaboration with technology partners.
  • Liaisons with key technical stakeholders globally, organize and run meetings to assess and understand requirements.
  • Represent Screening Utility team in relevant meetings and provide appropriate subject matter guidance.
  • Contribute to the development of Best-in-Class processes, controls and metrics through generation of ideas for change as well as enabling in managing the implementation of change.
  • Develop and create a robust capacity model for Screening Utility including intra-day volume trend assessment and capacity requirement.
  • Pivotal part in connecting all critical onshore, offshore functions supporting the end-to-end operations.
  • Ensure requirements are understood, aligned and delivered as per minimum standards defined under TOM and as per delivery pipeline.
  • Support the preparation of comprehensive presentations, briefing materials for the Screening Utility leadership.
  • The role holder is expected to have good knowledge of Screening Utility processes.
  • Intelligent and relevant analytics to be produced contributing to the financial target of the Screening Utility
  • Stakeholder management across a complex environment - Business Lines, FCC, Compliance.
  • Ensures Regulatory requirements addressing risk management are delivered to meet mandatory timescales.
  • Any competing scheduling demands that introduce risk are escalated to senior management immediately on identification of contention.
  • Proactively and effectively manages own time and workload, advocates to team the importance of project pace to achieve successful delivery.
  • The role holder is required to work within Screening & wider GPSO. GPS Core tasks will include managing the MIs and Governance packs for the Screening Utility & GPSO. There is a need to prepare strategic papers on a need basis.

Leadership & Teamwork:

  • Create and set objectives for Business Management team to deliver results
  • Create an operating Business Management model which is preemptive and proactive for Operations thereby enabling in relevant decision making
  • Support the preparation of comprehensive presentations, briefing materials for the Screening Utility
