From expanding overseas to managing the cash and trade flows of an established enterprise, the Business Banking team of Relationship Managers and Product Specialists provides a range of end-to-end solutions designed to help small and large businesses reach their potential.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an AVP, Non-Financial Risk Management.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Act as a CDD (Customer Due Diligence) expert by performing research, conducting customer contact and KYC (Know Your Customer) review according to internal and external regulations and policies
  • Recommend appropriate financial crime compliance measure(s) on respective relationship for fraud / anti money laundering prevention
  • Identify and escalate cases with potential concern on possible fraudulent application
  • Provide professional and high quality customer service to business customers
  • Identify service improvement initiatives and provide recommendation(s) on conducting portfolio de-risk
  • Proactively follow up with customers on outstanding document.
  • Liaise with other teams to help with smooth delivery of customer service and to accomplish assigned tasks
  • Identify business opportunities throughout the KYC process to address customers’ needs
  • Develop stakeholder management and project management skills by assisting Team Leader to manage implementation of new CDD initiatives
  • Coach new joiner colleagues to ensure seamless on-boarding
Requirements
  • University graduate with sales and service experience in banking industry is preferred 
  • Knowledge in commercial banking and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulatory requirements on corporate customers
  • Experience in handling CDD review for corporate customers is preferred
  • Details conscious with good analytical reasoning
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently
  • Good communication skills in written and spoken English and Cantonese; fluency in Putonghua is an advantage
  • Commercial banking products knowledge is an advantage
