We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Approver, Non-Financial Risk Management.

Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will

  • Manage a portfolio of Business Banking Portfolio Managed segment by performing research, assess and conducting customer contact in strict compliance with all internal and external Know Your Customer regulations and policies with ongoing review 
  • Inspect and verify the accuracy, appropriateness and sufficiency of each profile review of periodic CDD reviews, trigger reviews/ remediation activities and client onboarding to control the approval quality
  • Provide prompt assessment and execution of customers’ retention approvals by examining information and documentations collected from customers against both external and internal information/ intelligence
  • Make recommendation on account strategies such that to ensure the successful implementation of Business Banking de-risking strategies
  • Protect the banks reputation by knowing the customer and their business, monitoring suspicious behaviour, and taking appropriate action in compliance with internal standards, regulatory requirements and fit for purpose
Requirements

To be successful you will need

  • To be a university graduate with a degree in business, finance or a related discipline, preferably with some frontline experience in banking 
  • Sound banking operation and compliance knowledge
  • To be details conscious with good analytical reasoning
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership qualities
  • Good communication skills in written and spoken English and Cantonese, fluency in Putonghua is an advantage
