We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director Management Specialist in Technology Center.

What you’ll do:

•    You will be leading the architecture design, governance, implementation and support of a given business domain.
•    Work closely with the technology, delivery and business outcome leads to design and implement solutions aligned with the OKRs.
•    You will be an experienced capable software engineer who is looking to build on your development skills to contribute more to the strategic direction and design of technology solutions across different technology platforms.
•    Define the current state, target state and transition state architectures for specific business domain.
•    Review and discuss technical solutions and decisions with the architecture working group, identifying where formal governance and sign off is required.
•    Collaborate with the product feature teams (pods) of your business domain to help develop the product using your experience to help guide the team through the whole development lifecycle
•    Ensure governance requirements are captured, and audit requirements met. Demonstrating adherence to controls
•    Ensure that technical decisions and information is reviewed and agreed with the security teams.

Requirements

What you will need to succeed in the role:

•    A background in financial services, ideally in a large organization
•    Experience of API and service based architectures using REST APIs, micro-services and utilizing JSON for web or mobile applications.
•    A track record architecting cloud solutions, particularly with AWS and EKS.
•    Experience of security concepts and building internet security solutions.
•    Knowledge of implementation considerations for UI technologies including JavaScript frameworks like React, and Native App development for Android and iOS.
•    A software engineering background ideally in java or similar technologies.
•    Experience working in or with agile product feature teams using methodologies like Scrum.
•    Use of collaboration tools and agile ways of working with Confluence, Jira, etc.
•    DevOps processes and experience.

What additional skills will be good to have?

•    Strong communication and stake holder management skill.
•    Demonstrable experience of designing Cloud solutions using a combination of cloud native, 3rd party and on premise technologies.
•    Good understanding of the challenges and constraints of migrating from existing systems and platforms to Cloud based technologies.
•    Good understanding of micro services and cloud native concepts like Gateway, Service Discovery, Configuration, etc.
•    Experience in deployment & configuration management tools like Terraform, Ansible.
•    Prior experience in Banking and Financial product knowledge is an advantage.
