Department: CTO Infrastructure

In this role, you will: 

  • Provide a single Front Door process to engage Connectivity resources and help our customers register new requests.

  • Develop a good level of understanding of the appropriate business and IT systems of the Group and their associated IT development requirements

  • Acceptance, verification of submitted demand, technical analysis and response to requests for Connectivity resources.

  • Use communication skills to liaise with the Business and Team members to review requirements, shape the approach, understand impacted teams tasks (internal and external), estimate the effort, costs and schedule

  • Engage the appropriate Connectivity Platforms for support, input and awareness along with that identify architectural impacts.

  • Ensure all valid Inter-Company charges are billed correctly to the consuming entities while creating Cost summaries

  • Reviewing Teams availability to do the work based on an order book. Support for possible prioritization discussions.

  • Awareness of impacts on other non-Connectivity Teams like Enterprise Infrastructure, End User Services, etc

     

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • A good working knowledge of the project lifecycle and telecoms domain

  • Business analysis skills essential along with understanding of SWOT analysis, feasibility study etc. desirable

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain complex IT issues to non-technical people in the business and convey business requirements to technical colleagues.

  • Knowledge of Agile ways of working, Scrum basics, JIRA automation & Confluence

  • Good commercial orientation, appreciating the business usage of systems developed.

  • One who is able to find logical solutions to problems and manage to resolution

  • Work as part of a Globally distributed Team, cope with time-zones, language challenges and support an increasing demand as full globalization accelerates.
