Department – WPB

In this role, you will:

  • This person will primarily understand the existing Carbon Framework and work closely with the framework consuming teams to support and evolve it. The person will work with Engineering, Architecture, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to make correct decisions to support and evolve the framework.
  • The key responsibility is to manage the Support aspect of Carbon Framework by means of tickets management, team collaboration, technical issue troubleshooting, guiding teams during support, customer expectation management, customer communication, framework knowledge / documentation management, framework release management etc.
  • Lead Carbon Support team (spread across India and China), keep track on open tickets, troubleshoot tickets and guide team for resolution. Fix issues and implement new features as per customer requests in hands on fashion while collaborating with engineering team as required.
  • This person will also work closely with framework consumers and product owners to define the requirements for new product features and give demos and help define road map with product owner. Produce necessary metrices as required by PO.
  • Assess the benefits, risks, and dependencies of various solution options by leading technical conversations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
  • Good knowledge in Java (21), Spring Boot (3), Kotlin (1.9) and microservices engineering and architecture best practices and patterns.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting, analytical and stakeholder and team management skills (under pressure).
  • Great communication and collaboration skills to manage customer expectations.
  • Approach technical challenges with an open collaborative mind-set.  
  • Experience of leading the team / people management
  • Excellent team player with ability to work under minimal supervision and get things done from the team inside and outside.
  • Experience in Cloud technologies / DevOps tools – AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Git, Jenkins, Splunk, AppD etc.
  • Experience of Agile/Scrum/SAFe principles and best practices with Jira and Confluence
  • Experience of working on financial systems and banking solutions
