The Opportunity:
As an Infrastructure DevOps Engineer, you will build, manage, and support application infrastructure while enabling seamless cloud-based deployments.
What you’ll do:
• Design, build, and support application infrastructure.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows.
• Build and maintain platforms for cloud application deployments (e.g., GCP).
• Ensure compliance with HSBC operational risk standards, including network, firewall, OS, logging, monitoring, availability, and resiliency.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure incidents, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate resolutions with the team.
• Research emerging technologies and assess their alignment with business needs.
• Collaborate with team members and the Infrastructure Architect to deliver technologies and services.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with experience in root cause analysis and problem resolution.
• Excellent communication skills (written and spoken English).
• Experience as a Public Cloud Infrastructure Engineer on platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform) and automation frameworks (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible, Git).
• Proficiency in DevOps practices, including scripting (Shell, Python) and CI/CD workflows.
