· Lead the execution of business objectives to drive revenue and achieve the Annual Operating Plan targets and key performance indicators, whilst building a sustainable business model
· Direct resources to achieve both Rolling Operating Plan targets and long term growth in line with strategic plans through appropriate relationship building, customer contact plans and pipeline management for new and existing customers
· Responsible for identifying sales opportunities that address specific needs for our clients and managing these from identification to point of sale
· Drive sales and associated activities and monitor the key metrics to ensure employee productivity is meeting and/or exceeding market norms
· Support the front line team with business Management Information (MI)
· Responsible for providing direct support to Relationship Managers, delivering high quality service to the customer base
· Responsible for ensuring the bank aligns around our clients to deliver a high quality and robust service
· Build and maintain business relationships with clients in assigned area of responsibility
· Drive proactive collaboration with product partners, international colleagues, and other Global Businesses to deliver maximum value of HSBC products and services and to contribute to continued servicing of customer needs and deepening the existing relationships
· University graduate
· Minimum of 15 years of operational leadership experience in banking with exposure in sales, commercial lending, credit structures, risk assessment and trade finance. This includes minimum of 5 years of experience in the front line with a proven track record with client facing and revenue generation responsibility.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience as a team manager, preferably across diverse and multiple geographies
· Proven ability to lead, manage and coach a diverse and large team size with a mix of senior and junior team members.
· Proven ability to lead and influence at senior & executive levels – internally and externally – locally, regionally, and globally.
· Strong ability to develop marketing strategies, connect with internal stakeholders, originate business, analyze credit, manage operational and financial crime risk, in a fast-moving complex environment.
· Broad knowledge of transaction banking, treasury products and markets, and overall banking products and services.
· Proven ability to think, influence and execute strategically and ability to take / make decisions.
· Excellent leadership, time management, planning and marketing skills.
· Excellent range of communication skills, including written, verbal and the ability to deliver compelling presentations.
