As part of the ongoing global transformation of the Talent Acquisition & Onboarding function and, specifically, the expansion of the Executive & Leadership Talent Acquisition Team’s remit, this is a newly created role whose purpose is to ensure operational excellence for Executive & Leadership Talent Acquisition across the UK and Europe. 

Reporting to the Head of Delivery, Executive & Leadership Talent Acquisition, the role holder will be responsible for the seamless execution of the end-to-end recruitment process for senior hires. 

This role demands a strong focus on operational excellence including process improvement, compliance, and stakeholder management in order to ensure the highest levels of candidate and hiring manager experience. Additionally, the position is also responsible for ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for senior hires.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Process Improvement and Efficiency

•    Continuously assess and refine recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
•    Implement best practice and innovative solutions to improve candidate and hiring manager experience.

Compliance and Risk Management

•    Ensure that all processes comply with local and regional regulatory requirements.
•    Conduct quarterly Quality Assurance checks as mandated by Talent Acquisition governance teams for all senior hiring.

Reporting and Analysis

•    Deliver regional reporting and analysis to key stakeholders and the regional ExCo as required, including diversity reporting.
•    Monitor and report on service and performance metrics of the RPO partner providing administrative support.

Stakeholder and Vendor Management

•    Manage relationships with Preferred Supplier List (PSL) agencies.
•    Act as the point of contact for escalations and manage any issues to resolution.

TAO Transformation Programme

•    Play a key role in the Talent Acquisition Optimization (TAO) transformation programme.
•    Contribute to the success of systems implementation and the new operating model for GCB0-3 hiring in ASP.

End-to-End Onboarding Oversight

•    Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process for senior hires across the region, for both internal and external candidates.
•    Implement a process which ensures Executive and Leadership Talent Acquisition teams are updated on candidates' progress through onboarding.

Process Improvement and Management

•    Identify and implement process improvements on an ongoing basis and as part of the ongoing Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Programme.
•    Manage changes and enhancements to onboarding correspondence templates for executive candidates.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

•    Extensive experience in talent acquisition with a focus on senior and executive-level hiring.
•    Detailed understanding of HSBC’s end to end executive hiring processes, from role initiation to onboarding.
•    Proven track record in operational management within a talent acquisition context.
•    Extensive experience in compliance, operational risk management and regulatory adherence for recruiting in the UK & Europe.
•    Strong data and analytical skills with the ability to deliver comprehensive reporting and insights
•    Strong project management and process improvement skills.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
