The Opportunity:
- The purpose of the Operation Transformation Analyst is to manage the end-to-end process re-engineering / improvement activities that will achieve a measurable change to the organization.
- Primarily, the Transformation Analyst will be responsible for managing and executing a significant process re-engineering effort within one of the Operation transformation programmes as well as support the Site VPs to build & help execute the book of work locally, aligned to the respective Transformation Programs.
- The Process Transformation Analyst works at the project level and will be typically accountable for delivering re-engineering workstream business transformation programme.
What you’ll do:
Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities (e.g., for Business, Customers and Stakeholders; internal control environment, etc.) - Operate at a Project delivery level, working across global business and regions and helping the Operations Transformation & process excellence Leadership Team on business transformation and re-engineering efforts,
- Focus on the end customer aligned to Sub Value Streams (i.e. creating a better customer experience and reengineering processes end to end),
- Management and control of few complex global re-engineering project / re-engineering work stream, as part of a wider business transformation and deliver business benefits through Re-engineering,
- Work within 12-16 weeks’ timescale for reengineering projects and ensuring designs are translated into implementation
- Conduct ground work for the identification, validation and prioritisation of opportunities suitable for automation, working with the Automation team to identify optimal opportunities and prioritising them in collaboration with business stakeholders
Reviews and validates delivery lifecycle documentation, including the Initial Heat Map, Process Assessment, Process design document and Solution Design Document - Has a strong understanding of data to support opportunity identification –support the working group meetings, partners with key stakeholders
Anticipate issues and risks and address them quickly, with an understanding of the critical path. Contemplate contingencies and develop strategies to manage risks, - Provide timely reports on process re-engineering project / programme status, risks and issues, evaluating performance based on management information,
- Build and sustain trusting relationships with internal customers by consistently delivering value-add consultancy services and design and deliver the most beneficial solutions,
- Collaborate with other enablers & teams ie Automation, Technology, Operation Transformation Program Office to drive Global and local re-engineering initiatives.
Leadership & Teamwork - Participate in team meeting / team activities and work towards sustaining team spirit.
- Assist line manager/supervisor with managing day-to-day operations and support peers on process if needed.

Requirements
What you will need to succeed in the role:
Functional Knowledge
- Knowledge of Process Excellence methodology- Lean, Six Sigma, Basics of data analytics, Process mapping, To be Design, Understanding of automation tools, ability to build heatmaps
Others - Basic understanding of HSBC Change framework and maintains HSBC internal control standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external 'regulators.'
- Implement the Group Compliance Policy as applicable to your role in conjunction with the relevant laws, rules and codes with which the business has to comply within the country you reside and in relation to the countries migrating work to assigned GSC.
- To continually re-access the operational risks inherent in the business, ta account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures, management restructures and the impact of new technology in conjunction with the donor Group companies.
- Responsible for one’s own performance. Required to ensure that the service levels are maintained at its optimum level.
