We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of AVP Surveillance Manager L2 (GCB5 - GDM)
What you’ll do
• Perform trade surveillance on order flow from, MSS traders and customers across an array of asset classes including equities, fixed income, FX and derivatives for potential market abuse and escalate them where appropriate.• Review e-communications surveillance alerts for potential market abuse and misconduct and escalate them where appropriate.• Contribute to continuously enhancing our investigatory capabilities by identifying new internal and external data sources, systems capabilities and investigative techniques.• Contribute to the ongoing testing and calibration of surveillance systems and controls to ensure market abuse risks are being identified against a continuously evolving risk and regulatory landscape.• Draft and submit compelling regulatory filings based on evidence gathered through in-depth, intelligence-led surveillance investigations.• Co-ordinate with colleagues across the wider Surveillance function, ensuring consistency where appropriate and promoting best practices.• Forge strong working relationships with stakeholders from the businesses we protect and enable as well as colleagues in Compliance, Risk and the Control Offices, acting as an ambassador for Surveillance, showcasing successful outcomes where appropriate.• Support ongoing strategic endeavors such as the roll out of next generation trade surveillance capabilities across business lines and regions.
What you need to have to succeed in this role
• Experience in surveillance and/or business knowledge across all asset classes (equities, fixed income, FX and derivatives) is preferable.• Communications Surveillance experience, or an ability to rapidly upskill is essential.• The ability to analyse and present complex information in a clear, concise and precise written and verbal format is essential.• A working understanding of the market abuse aspects of MAR, MIFID, FCA Handbook and other relevant global regulation• An ability to think strategically, with perspective, and demonstrate resilience, is critical.• An ability to inspire confidence and enthusiasm in Surveillance deliverables in both staff and stakeholders is critical.• Strong, practical experience of risk management in a multi-dimensional environment (for example, industry expectations, regulatory pressures, extensive internal scrutiny).
What we offer
The pay range for this role is 12975 PLN - 16500 PLN (monthly, gross).
Variable pay is discretionary, but influenced by Group performance, business/function performance and individual performance.
