Your career opportunity
The role is based in the Global Finance Operations Centre in Krakow, Poland. The centre is supporting the development of the businesses across the European region. The centre covers all finance functions including Reporting (management and financial), Accounting and Financial Control and Systems.

What you’ll do
    • Provide well-grounded analysis and commentary for own areas of accountability to enable sound understanding of business requirements and informed decision-making.
    • Implement technical topics of the required changes in Accounting Rules Engine.
    • Drive the small project/change delivery (acting as Project Manager).
    • Provide critical support to all customers by providing guidance and advice as required.
    • Partner with IT for system updates and changes.
    • Ensure systems and process documentation is validated and up to date.
    • Coordinate and governance of controls used in the systems.
    • Maintain and develop effective controls and procedures and quality assurance processes.

What you need to have to succeed in this role
    • Possess a good knowledge of financial accounting and control, with 3 - 5 years of experience.
    • Experience in leading or participating in process improvements or implementation projects.
    • Very good understanding of financial systems, working experience in project management.
    • Relevant University degree preferred.
    • Programming skills (one of): SAS, Python or SQL.
    • Knowledge of Financial Services and Products (sound understanding of Global Markets products a plus).
    • Be able to work independently and meet tight deadlines with good quality output.
    • Take personal accountability, be decisive, use judgment and common sense.

What we offer

The pay range for this role is 14 308 PLN - 18 000 PLN (monthly, gross).

Variable pay is discretionary, but influenced by Group performance, business/function performance and individual performance.
