The GCIO Chief Control Office (CCO) team plays an important role in enabling the bank to operate within its risk appetite by ensuring efficient and effective risk and control management. We do this by providing operational risk and control expertise, specialist technical knowledge and a deep understanding of the businesses and functions we serve.
Key activities include implementation and oversight of the Group’s Risk Management Framework, ongoing and targeted controls assessments, implementing and maintaining robust risk governance, and championing a proactive risk culture. GCIO CCO works closely with partners across all lines of defense and is responsible for maintaining positive relationships with our regulators and external partners.
GCIO CCO Shared Services Team will work on improvement of existing ways of working, tools and processes for risk and control management
What you’ll do
- Collect and analyse data and feedback from internal consumers and work with them to capture requirements for the solutions being delivered by GCIO CCO Shared Services Team.
- Evaluate products external and internal and propose improvements, new features and implementation tactics to the existing product stack, in line with GCIO strategy.
- Write product documentation (guides, instruction manuals) to address user requirements to support successful adoption of new solutions into day-to-day GCIO risk and control operations.
- Support identification and implementation of new solutions for GCIO to enhance organization’s ability to manage Technology, Cyber and Data risk and controls.
- Monitor products performance and present findings and reports to the leadership to ensure continuous improvement of the existing solutions.
- Prepare and present reports on current product structure and performance to the management.
What you need to have to succeed in this role
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in product analysis and understanding of project management concepts.
- Internal and external market research analysis to develop product insights.
- Ability to work in a complex, change environment and respond to challenges arising from working with big transformation programs is a must.
- Experience with analysing high volumes of complex data and present findings in simple and understandable format is required.
- Understanding of Technology Risk and Control Management concepts, Key Control Indicators, Key Risk Indicators and Key Performance indicators and their use in Risk and Control management.
- Experience across IT, Operations, Risk Management, and / or Audit roles requiring management of diverse risk types is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to influence and challenge stakeholders.
