This job profile provides a broad overview of the Job Category Credit Risk Process Manager (GPBW) and is not intended to exhaustively describe the job.

The role resides under the Risk function of the Global Private Banking & Wealth (GPB&W). The Credit Risk Portfolio Management team is responsible for collateral assessment and production of reporting, analytics and management information covering the Global Private Banking & Wealth lending activity. The team stakeholders include Credit Advisory, Finance and the Risk function. The team also plays an important role in the implementation of new lending framework and other internal project affecting the activity of GPB&W.
The Credit Risk Process Manager can analyse large datasets in an efficient way, providing relevant information to the management about trends and drivers in the lending activity. The person is able to communicate effectively with stakeholders from various functions and levels of seniority. A strong team member, able to handle multiple concurrent tasks, able to delegate the workload within the team, communicate effectively and be attentive to detail. The successful candidate will also support the PB Switzerland Risk team with tasks covering the entire risk taxonomy of the Bank (not limited only to credit risk).  


What you’ll do:
    • Generate and analyse various credit portfolio reports covering the credit activity, monitor collateral concentration risk, provide quarterly impairments overviews, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, 
    • Prepare Climate and Nature Assessment Reports, contributing to the organization’s sustainability initiatives,
    • Manage regulatory reporting, ensuring compliance with external requirements and internal policies, monitor and interpret regulatory developments impacting the Risk Function,
    • Coordinate with stakeholders to manage an expanded RMM agenda and prepare accordingly,
    • Facilitate the implementation of revised governance structures, ensuring compliance, liaise with other entities to integrate new oversight requirements seamlessly,
    • Support the Risk function in long-term projects such as Climate Risk initiatives and Independent Auditor requests, support the development and execution of risk-related projects and initiatives,
    • Oversee the management and follow-up of the monthly PBRS risk map and risk appetite processes and reports, preparation of risk reports and papers (e.g. risk reporting pack, quarterly EMEA Business and Risk Forum pack, support in adapting/formatting RMM papers going to ExCo, ARC and Board), 
    • Oversee the annual records management and outsourcing review processes, consolidated asset reporting to Group on a quarterly basis, Preparation of the quarterly Swiss Pension Risk Management Meeting pack.


What you need to have to succeed in this role 
    • University graduate with solid understanding of financial markets and credit risk, 
    • 5+ years of relevant experience in banking e.g. Risk, Product Control, Front Office, Middle Office,
    • Preferably international financial/risk accreditation e.g. CFA, FRM, PRM,
    • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills,
    • Self-starter with ability to think out of the box and challenge the status quo,
    • Very good MS Excel skills (technical formulas, Pivot, VBA) is a must, Access/SQL/Python is a strong advantage,
    • Very good skills in English, French would be a plus,
    • Administrative efficiency and excellent time management, excellent attention to detail and a disciplined approach, ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and projects and work under pressure, strong team player with very good communicational skills.
