Global Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Group Resilience Risk (GRR) is a sub function of Group Risk and Compliance. Its purpose is to make sure HSBC is equipped with a coherent Risk Management Framework, Risk Taxonomy and the tools to enable it to understand and operate within its Global Risk Appetite and effectively manage its overall risk position. The Global Chief of Staff team forms part of the key risk management support structure. The role is global in scope, providing oversight in all regions and sites in which Risk & Compliance operates.

What you’ll do
    • Support senior management across ERM and GRR with recruitment, onboarding for new joiners, as well as offboarding activities.
    • Support the migration process, billing (eg SD Static), recharges, finances, and coordination of FRP in conjunction with the Global ERM and GRR Business Management team.
    • Lead and manage the logistics of events held in Poland CoE, including careers fairs, university events, recruitment drives and team days for both ERM and GRR.
    • End-to-end support with senior R&C and/or ERM and/or GRR leadership offsites and visits.
    • Own the Poland CoE ERM and GRR BCPs and ensure timely updates and completions of all tasks.
    • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of MI/data and metrics on behalf of the Heads of ERM and GRR, Poland CoE.
    • Take a leading role in setting and driving the People Agenda, including Talent Management and Training and Development across ERM and GRR.
    • Lead on Records Management, Audit Points and MSII Management across ERM and GRR establishing processes and ensuring this is embedded globally.

What you need to have to succeed in this role
    • Some experience in risk management at a Globally Significant Financial Institution (GSFI) would be beneficial.
    • Some knowledge of the relevant regulatory landscape pertaining to model risk.
    • Experience in a business management or administrative role with advanced knowledge in the use of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and Powerpoint).
    • Ability to lead and promote a strong risk control culture and continually improve risk awareness.
    • Proven ability to develop networks with key stakeholders in a matrix structure.
    • Team-oriented mentality combined with ability to complete tasks independently to a high-quality standard.
    • A change agent who challenges the status quo diplomatically, constructively and positively in order to lead relevant strategies that enable safe growth of HSBC.
    • A BA or BS University Degree, advanced degrees preferable, (e.g. MBA, MSc, PhD).

What we offer
The pay range for this role is 15025 PLN - 22533 PLN (monthly, gross).

Variable pay is discretionary, but influenced by Group performance, business/function performance and individual performance.
