Your career opportunity


As a Product Owner for DOME in GPS, you will drive the development and optimization of HSBC’s payment proportion for RTP and Bulk payments. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet business objectives, regulatory requirements, and client needs.
The role’s main emphasis will be on supporting the Ellipse program in documenting migration requirements for SEPA (RTP, Direct Debits & Classic) to support the Ellipse Program. This will require close coordination with GPS product and Technology.


What you’ll do
    • Document requirements for migrating customer flows including processing, reconciliation, statements & advises, reporting to the new payment infrastructure for DOME.
    • Review and refine IT user stories related to payment flow migration.
    • Support product mangers with impact assessment to customers and provide them with information required by them to communicate to clients on the same.
    • Review the backlog and set priorities for IT as part of PI planning. Support decision making on scope and timelines
    • Engage stakeholders to clarify requirements.
    • Communicate changes to relevant reams.


What you need to have to succeed in this role
    • Must have in-depth knowledge of SEPA payment processing, encompassing regulatory standards, end-to-end transaction flows, and compliance obligations. 
    • Familiarity with German payment flows including channels is considered advantageous.
    • Experience in documenting requirements in a Business Requirements Document (BRD).
    • Familiarity with Agile ways of working will be advantageous.
    • Should be proactive, able to deliver clear, timely, and reliable analysis and recommendations to senior leadership, and communicate effectively.
    • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
    • The ability to balance multiple priorities and work efficiently under tight deadlines is essential.
