Your career opportunity
As Quality Manager, you will be the day-to-day management of the automation engineering and delivery teams based in India, Poland and the UK and leading the engineering delivery activities which involves the coordination between various internal and external engineering and architecture teams.
As experienced Quality Manager, you should be comfortable in managing a highly performant cross functional teams including software engineers. You own the day-today management of the team, including engaging and supporting of new team members and ensuring the team can perform at their best.
What you’ll do
- Manage the PODs as Quality Manager as well as design and implement regression test suite.
- Evaluate our current test strategy & looking for constant development and improvement.
- Liaise with developers and stakeholders to scope and estimate testing requirements as well as write & execute test cases and test plans.
- Ensure every team member has realistic objectives and support them achieving their goals and provide technical expertise for Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and automated release management.
- Provide operational expertise across technologies including Jenkins, GitHub, for Java applications on Linux and Oracle database
- Ensure incorporation and testing of non-functional requirements including meeting necessary controls (e.g. Security) Working with Ops, Dev and Test Engineers to recover from operational issues, and providing out of hours support for product releases
- Challenge the team to improve on process and inspire them to find new better ways of working as well as help identify and mitigate delivery risks.
- Drive, track and communicate the progress of sprints and releases through team velocity and burn down charts as well as enable the cross functional team to ensure they have all they need to deliver.
What you need to have to succeed in this role
- Unix/Linux experience & shell scripting.
- Experience rolling out improvements of technical software delivery processes.
- Ability to identify application reliability and availability improvements and establish and build solutions to drive improved experience.
- Demonstration of teamwork, collaborating with varied technical and non-technical resources
- Ability to Implement process improvements and maintaining system stability whilst continuing to deliver business value.
- Ability to overcome application limitations in delivery of automation Tools / Methodologies.
