What you’ll do
    • Reporting into the Head of Business Management, you will take responsibility for supporting the central PMO team to ensure appropriate controls are in place and that the programme is operating in alignment with the central CIB DA portfolio office vision and standards, as well as complying with HSBC’s Change Management Framework. 
    • demonstrate excellent stakeholder management qualities, building relationships across the CIB DA organization to implement and embed robust reporting, governance and controls standards. 
    • You will have primary responsibility for the PMO activities of one or more WDAC value streams, and will be expected to drive adherence to change management framework standards and controls in conjunction with your relevant pod leads and value stream lead. 
    • Primarily focusing on the reporting function, a strong knowledge of Jira and Clarity and the use of this within the bank is a must. 

What you need to have to succeed in this role
    • Proficient in the use of Excel, PowerPoint and Word (Microsoft Suite of Application).
    • Motivated self-starter with ability to work collaboratively within a team.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision making skills.
    • Willingness to learn and quick to adapt to changing requirements.
    • Identify project issues, communicate them and assist in their resolution.
    • Assist in continuous improvement efforts in enhancing project team methodology and performance.
    • The preparation and review of project documentation including status reports, risk and issue logs, project plans and other documents as required.
    • Actively manage operational issues that arise in conjunction with advisers and stakeholders and provide solutions for colleagues and senior executives.
    • Provide the drive to push the projects forward and ensure that delivery milestones are met.
