What you will do:

The Head of Finance for Asset Management will oversee all financial aspects of Asset Management France, ensuring the smooth and efficient management of financial operations. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance, reporting, risk management, and strategic decision-making. The Head of Finance will collaborate closely with senior leadership, investment teams, and stakeholders to enhance the firm’s financial performance and will report directly to the Continental Europe Asset Management CFO.

In this role you will:

  • Lead the financial strategy for the firm, aligning financial goals with the overall business strategy.
  • Provide executive leadership in financial management, financial modeling, and capital planning.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning, ensuring optimal financial growth and profitability.
  • Actively support and deliver at country level innovation change Finance agenda (MI automatization, RAFTER & AIVIQ Implementation, ANAPLAN…)
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to maintain sound financial practices.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, reports, and analysis for the board, investors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Oversee the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and accounting standards (French GAAP and IFRS).
  • Lead financial analysis to assess performance metrics, investment outcomes, and portfolio profitability.
  • Oversee internal controls procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best industry practices.
  • Liaise with auditors, regulators, and other external bodies as necessary.
  • Prepare and oversee Finance papers for EXCO, Audit committee, BAORD.
  • Lead the finance team, providing direction, mentorship, and professional development opportunities, oversee the hiring and training of staff to ensure high performance within the finance department.
  •       Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the finance function including Group Asset Management Finance Team, contribute actively to the implementation of group tools solution in France
Requirements

You should apply if you have:

  • Deep understanding of financial modelling, asset management, and portfolio management strategies.
  • Expertise in financial reporting, French Tax framework, and accounting principles (French GAAP/IFRS).
  • Leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, Bloomberg, ERP systems).
  • Ability to think strategically and influence decision-making at the executive level.
  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. An MBA or CPA is highly desirable.
  • Experience in financial management within asset management, investment banking, or similar fields or experience in a senior leadership role.
  • High level of integrity and accountability.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Results-oriented with a proactive, hands-on approach.
