In this role, you will: 

  • Collaborate with all the business areas for all asset families (e.g. server, network, FQDN) and understand their asset lifecycle management process.
  • Analyse asset related data (e.g. Mandatory Attributes) and processes within inventory to identify gaps, and poor data quality.
  • Perform root cause analysis and problem-solve identified gaps and flaws in data, data flow and processes.
  • Take responsibility for identifying fixes and working with relevant teams for implementation.
  • Work with and assist Inventory and Asset Family Owners to ensure their compliance with the ITAM control and identify blockers.
  • Follow-up with stakeholders and track and escalate outstanding actions.
  • Lead workstreams to expand, strengthen or streamline the ITAM control.
  • Respond to and participate in audits and audit requests.
  • Take responsibility for the overarching data governance process and actively participate in and chair the Inventory Governance Forum and Configuration Management Community of Practice.
  • Assist with the production of monthly Key Control Indicator (KCI) and weekly escalation reporting for Senior Management.
Requirements

 To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements: 

  • Strong problem-solving and data analytical skills.
  • An eye for detail.
  • Ability to understand complex data, relationships, and process logic.
  • Demonstrated experience in writing SQL queries for data analysis and investigation.
  • Initiative and proactiveness.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite – particularly Excel.
  • Experience of documenting system processes and data flows, producing clear, succinct documentation.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Quick learning, team player and strong interpersonal/social skills to build and maintain cordial
