We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Manager, Employee Benefits Client Management.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Reporting to Senior Manager of EB Client Management on daily operations and assigned tasks status
  • Delivering support services to all sales channels to ensure Employee Benefits (EB) business is booked and retained efficiently and effectively and in accordance with the agreed working processes, including agreed SLAs, in order to maximize customer satisfaction and HSBC Life revenue
  • Ensuring all sales channels are aware and understand the latest HSBC Life operations and underwriting processes. Arrange briefing sessions by relevant HSBC Life functions as required to improve understanding and alignment
  • Sharing and promoting best client management practices and tactics
  • Providing regular Management Information Reports to keep various levels of management updated with new business onboarding, account servicing and renewal performance
  • Liaising with internal departments and monitoring on policy issuance status
  • Delivering timely new business onboarding, customer service and renewal process support by engaging directly with customers and ensuring prompt collection and delivery of critical customer documentation, and following up proactively as needed
  • Collaborating with sales channels to review operating arrangements and identifying areas of concern that require improvement. Delivering process improvement projects and tasks as may be assigned by management from a time-to-time basis
  • Establishing effective two-way dialogue with sales channels and HSBC Life functions, proactively reaching out and providing necessary information on the status of EB cases. Fully engaging with sales channels to ensure they are kept appraised with progress onboarding their new business cases, the resolution of any customer service issues and, working with the sales channels for renewal activity
Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree graduate or equivalent
  • IIQE license 1&3 is required
  • Experience in insurance industry, preferably in Group Life and Medical insurance for over 6 years (less experience will be considered for Assistant Manager)
  • Fast learner, positive attitude and accountable
  • Good team player with a self-motivated mindset, enthusiastic in helping to collectively achieve new business, renewal and other targets
  • Excellent interpersonal & presentation skills
  • Effective problem solving skills
  • Good command in spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin; and writing in English and Chinese
