The Opportunity:
- The Manager, Operational Management, will support the CAO on delivering all the tasks related to smooth execution of Operational Management activities within the specific region. This includes administrative support to the specific CAO Office. He/ She will participate in management forums and project steering committees as necessary to ensure best practice is understood, implemented, and used effectively.
- Tasks also include creating, maintaining, and tracking MI and information from across the enterprise, analysis and reporting of GB / GF performance against pre-defined activities, creation of MI and governance packs, monitor and follow up on action items related to projects or specific activities, performing advisory services, MI reporting, data analysis, data manipulation, etc. The expectation of the role would embrace acting as a change agent and maintaining excellent communication and engagement with multiple stakeholders across the region/ globe.

- Responsible for creating, maintaining, and tracking MI and information from across the enterprise, undertaking analysis and reporting on GB / GF performance against pre-defined activities.
- Responsible to independently conduct data analysis, data manipulation, etc to create MI and governance packs, monitor and follow up on action items related to projects or specific activities, performing advisory services.
- Responsible for delivery of in accordance to guidelines and industry best practices – produce work that is in accordance with department guidelines, compliance regulations, policies and procedures regarding content and design, and industry best practices by understanding and applying them correctly
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, review their work, and seeking advice from team leads, as necessary.
- Responsible to implement the Group compliance policy embracing all relevant financial services laws, rules, and codes with which the business has to comply.
- Collaborate with Compliance department about new business initiatives to ensure adequate resources are in place, training is provided to foster a compliance culture and optimizing relations with regulators
- Responsible to continually assess the operational risks inherent in the business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures, management restructures, and the impact of new technology along with the donor Group companies.
- Ensure risks are effectively managed in line with the Group’s Operational Management Risk Framework

Governance reporting – Provide support and guidance to team leads and managers to monitor delivery and improve communication with internal stakeholders through maintaining the Group/Regional COO governance tracker productivity reports.

- The role holder will adhere to internal controls. This will be achieved by adherence to all relevant procedures, keeping appropriate records and, where appropriate, by the timely implementation of internal and external audit points, including issues raised by external regulators.
Operational Management is part of the Group COO office. The Manager will help the business supporting Operations Management teams across the Group and Regions. The role holder will also be required to engage with the other Group’s management to support the governance of operational management teams of various stakeholders, including understanding and managing the different systems. The role holder should be able to understand the problem and provide or direct the business to solution. Acting as a central point of contact for the various secretariat, effective networking, building relationships and outstanding communication will be key to success.

Skills & Experience
- Highly analytical; highly proficient in Word, Excel (including Macros), and PowerPoint
- Ability to analyze performance of different services and determine root cause
- Collaborative skill is required to follow up actions from formal governance meetings
- Attention to detail, with proven problem-solving ability in a deadline-driven environment
- Able to map processes, and draft and implement procedures
- Good oral and written communications skills
- Working knowledge of SharePoint is desirable
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to set priorities and manage deadlines
- An innovative thinker, willing to bring forward and promote new ideas and initiatives among peers
- Able to maintain composure and professionalism in a fast-paced work atmosphere
- Flexibility in working arrangements when required.
