Customer Value Management is vital in maintaining HSBC’s position as a provider of world-class wealth and personal banking solutions, directing business development with a focus on customers. The team works to ensure the most appropriate pricing, products and promotions are directed to the most relevant customers, concentrating on building value, treating customers fairly and creating a superb customer experience.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Marketing Manager, Personal Banking.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Develop marketing strategies and campaigns for the personal banking proposition with the core objective to grow the mass segment, specifically millennials, through enhancing brand awareness, boosting acquisition and deepening customer relationship
  • Understand different customer segments from local and non-residential Chinese, in order to brief, manage and implement campaign activities which support segment or product commercial objectives 
  • Support financial literacy and financial education initiatives to nurture the young segment
  • Leverage consumer insights, data, marketing technologies, paid / owned media and conversion rate optimization to generate demand and convert leads into sales
  • Manage marketing budgets and ensure effective deployment to enhance return on investment
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external agencies to ensure timely and effective rollout of initiatives
  • Ensure all activities are adhered to the established marketing processes and policies and reinforce the brand values
Requirements
  • University graduate in business studies or marketing is preferred
  • Experience in a marketing role of no less than 6 years, with a good understanding of banking products would be highly preferred
  • Proven ability to be a self-starter with energy and drive in a challenging and dynamic environment
  • Proficient in data analysis, project management skills, advertising production and direct marketing with good commercial sense
  • Excellent communication skills – fluent in Cantonese/Chinese (writing) and English.  Putonghua would be a plus
  • Think innovatively, strong in shaping and communicating new concepts
  • Highly customer centric by putting customers at the heart of all development and marketing activities
  • A team player with good interpersonal skills and the ability to perform multi tasks and meet tight deadlines
