We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join the Markets and Securities Services team. 

Job Introduction

The role holder will be part of Middle Office which is a non-revenue generating team supporting activities such as deal input (including new deals, post-trade events) and ancillary support activities.

Principal Responsibilities

-        Perform day to day transaction flow process for Forex and other kinds of deals at Global Markets

-        Input deals booked with clients and other counterparties

-        Answer transactions that are raised on bank systems for approvals with the required details

-        Perform day and end of day checks and reconciliation

-        Generate MIS reports as required from time to time

-        Any other activities relevant to the above tasks

Requirements

-        At a minimum the candidate should hold a graduation degree

-        Basic understanding of Markets products

-        Ability to speak and understand English

-        Efficient time management and ability to multi task work and priorities to meet defined deadlines.

-        Ability to build excellent rapport and working relationship with other departments and jurisdiction thus ensuring smooth operations.

-        Should have demonstrated behaviour in line with HSBC values throughout

-        Strong working knowledge on MS Office

-        Having an understanding of trade booking process and relevant systems will be preferred

 

Eligibility Criteria

  • India Bank / INM employees will be eligible to apply to this role after completion of 12 months in the current role/position at the time of application on level transfer and/or promotion.
  • Entity Employees (not from India Bank) to be guided by their internal policy on tenure completion in current role at the time of application before applying and share line manager approval once shortlisted
  • INM Employees in scope of WPB Career Progression Framework not eligible to apply to roles within the purview of the Framework.
