We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Omnia Product Owner.

This is an opportunity for a finance and technology focused Product Owner to join the Omnia programme within CIB Data & Analytics. Omnia is CIB and Commercial Banking’s strategic tool for Client and Business Analytics. It is both a detailed data asset and an interactive suite of reporting and insights, providing common understanding of the value our clients generate domestically and globally, and informing client engagement, opportunity identification, and better articulation of HSBC’s network through investor disclosures.

This Product Owner role will own the delivery of a number of technical capabilities in Omnia, as well as being day-to-day owner of Omnia production controls (data refresh and accuracy).

Principal Responsibilities

• End-to-end ownership of technology change delivery, overseeing the transformation lifecycle from requirements  documentation and UX/UI design to technical deployment and testing
• Owns project planning and RAID management, including appropriate and timely escalations as required
• Be the key contact for Business stakeholders for each deliverable, ensuring appropriate consideration of requirements and engagement throughout implementation
• Be the main contact point for ata and IT delivery teams for each deliverable
• Day-to-day owner of HORIS/Omnia production controls, including data refresh cadence, data accuracy and improvement. Will work closed with Business Finance and Finance Operations
• Drive the Insights & Analytics strategy on behalf of the global lead
• Leadership of change delivery pod, including line management responsibilities

• Extensive experience in finance and technology transformation
• End-to-end understanding of the technology delivery lifecycle, from requirements documentation to deployment and testing
• Good understanding of Client Profitability and/or finance reporting
• Good understanding of CIB and Commercial Banking structures and product suite
• Experience in MI / dashboard delivery
• Skilled in data analysis, research, validation and documentation
• Detail oriented, capable of delivering work to a high level of accuracy
• Strong self-starter, enthusiastic problem solver, ability to manage multiple priorities and work with minimal supervision
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong interpersonal skills, stakeholder management, and above all a team player
• Experience of QlikSense tooling delivery
