We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Operations Officer.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Handle the asset valuation processes
  • Carry out valuation processes for various OTC derivatives either using models established by market data vendors or referring to quotes provided by counterparts
  • Follow up missing / doubtful quotes pricing
  • Handle the HKTR and MAS TR reporting of OTC derivatives
  • Assist in preparing the ad-hoc regulatory reports
  • Provide data input support to the production of customized statements
  • Assist in the health check over statements which require special handling before delivery to clients
  • Conduct user acceptance test before the launch of new products / systems or strategic initiatives
  • Contribute proactively to the improvement of operational efficiency and quality of work within the team
  • Provide adequate project support to the successful launch
Requirements
  • University graduates, preferably major in banking and finance or business studies
  • Preferably with at least 1 year experience in the banking field
  • Disciplined with good time management
  • Able to work independently, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment and multitask when needed
  • Attentive to details and proficiency in handling large volume of data in Excel
  • Strong in the operation of Bloomberg and Reuters
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
