To be the single point of contact for Outsourcing and to oversee and co-ordinate the governance requirements for outsourcing in the MENAT Region. This includes the following key deliverables:
•    Manage the Outsourcing Approval Process End to End for MENAT Countries, supporting Global Business and Infrastructure teams to navigate Outsourcing Governance requirements
•    Supporting MENAT countries with their outsourcing approvals, ensuring that outsourcing is noted  in Internal Third Party Country packs.
•    End to end management of the Outsourcing Approval Committee for UAE
•    End to end management of the MENAT Outsourcing Oversight Meeting (MOOM)
•    Support individuals to use Appian (Global Third Party Register Tool) to complete outsourcing approvals. Escalate issues or deficiencies in the tool for senior management’s awareness
•    Ensure the MENAT Internal Third Parties and Outsourcing lead is informed of all key matters regarding outsourcing to ensure required support and guidance is provided to facilitate the outsourcing approval process

Duties & Responsibilities:
Outsourcing Governance
•    Ensure the Formal Meetings are operating within the requirements of the Terms of References (ToR)
•    Preparing the minutes of meetings and accurately recording actions raised in the meeting. Tracking actions to completion
•    Take an active lead in the shaping and development of the UOC UAE Outsourcing Committee meeting papers and operating rhythm of the Committee

Stakeholder Management
•    Managing all outsourcing enquiries either directly or through the MENAT_ITP_Hub Email Account
•    Support Internal Third Party leads across the MENAT region, best practice sharing and be an SME for outsourcing
•    Effective communication and clear information provided to stakeholders, e.g. Project Managers (globally), 2LoD, Cloud Team, ExCo members, Country COOs and Regulators 
•    Lead on Training and Information Sharing sessions to support in knowledge improvement around the outsourcing approval process
•    Group Policy and Procedure – Ensure implementation and on-going adherence to requirements relevant to outsourcing

Reporting and MI
•    Ensure Outsourcing Records are retained accurately
•    Support with Outsourcing Regulatory Reporting in the UAE
•    Provide data and content for governance paper submissions
•    Support in any back book remediation projects

Requirements

 Experience & Qualifications:

•    A bachelor’s degree is required, to obtain a work permit in the UAE
•    High level of personal drive and motivation to ensure delivery of a broad range of outputs simultaneously
•    Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels across the Group
•    Experience in working with data with high attention to detail
•    Proven abilities in working across cultures
•    Under the New Labour Law, only fixed term contracts shall be available to all employees of HSBC UAE (except DIFC and ADGM employees) – hence in line with the term of work permit, a 4 years’ contract would be issued
