The Premier Relationship Director serves as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of High-Net-Worth Premier Clients with a net worth of £750k to £1.5m+. They are responsible for building and maintaining strong relationship with their high-net-worth clients & are also responsible for growing their customer portfolio and securing new business. The Premier Relationship Director role will be based in local branches.

The individual supports every aspect of a client’s financial life, helping them to grow, manage and preserve their wealth and provide a professional service in a world of increasing complexity. This includes a greater range of financial products and solutions, and a better understanding of our customers’ needs.

The Premier Relationship Director is tasked with proactive client contact, identifying wealth needs, and referring to appropriate specialists as well as being present in the local community and alongside branch colleagues, to grow new client opportunities.

In this role you will:

•    Ensure world class client service and performance while serving as the primary point of contact for personal banking and wealth needs for your portfolio of clients.     
•    Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with your portfolio of clients, understanding their financial goals and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
•    Develop and implement strategies to increase the value of existing client portfolios, proactively identifying wealth needs and services to maximize client satisfaction and retention, as well as business performance.         
•    Represent the bank within your local community, at industry events, conferences, among other networking opportunities to enhance HSBC’s reputation, attract new business and expand our presence within the high-net-worth market.                                                                                      
•    Forge strong relationship with key stakeholders such as Wealth Managers, Branch, Mortgage and Commercial Banking colleagues.
•    Adhere to structures and processes for the management of credit, operational, reputational, criminal, and regulatory risk.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

•    Proven track record of success in relationship management is essential
•    Experience in customer facing role and passionate about delivering outstanding customer service while proactively seeking innovative ways to improve this service - Essential                                   
•    A comprehensive understanding of the regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements associated with financial services, including consumer duty.                                                                       •    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients.
•    Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CFA, CFP) is desired
