HSBC’s Global Payments Solutions (GPS) serves as a core service provider to Global Banking and Markets (GB&M) and Commercial Banking (CMB) customers. We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our GPS sales team, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets as well as maintain and enhance revenue streams by identifying and selling innovative GPS solutions to a defined portfolio of clients thus maximizing commercial profitability and relationship depth. This will include contributing to the pricing, reviewing, and negotiating the full range of cash management services together with effecting any cost reduction initiatives required by the Bank. 

In this role, you will:
•    Support the delivery and management of market leading innovative payments solutions which enable HSBC to bring the power of its network to clients.
•    Help drive fee revenue growth in line with customer needs and optimize the financial contribution of GPS.
•    Support in Product design and commercialization activities which effectively manage and report any risks and issues.
•    Identify product gaps and introduce process improvements to benefit the overall client experience and streamline internal processes.
•    Collaborate with partners across GPS UAE, CMB, GBM, GPS Operations, Risk stewards and GPS Information Technology.
•    Work with CMB, GBM, Compliance, Tax, Legal and GPS Operations to help ensure products are fit for purpose.
•    Engage with Regional Wholesale Digital teams, GPS IT and GPS OPS in Digital Business Services (DBS) to support changes to Global Payment Solutions in the UAE.
•    Encourage collaboration across geographies and business teamwork by sharing best practices and breaking down silos.
•    Maintain and observe all HSBC control standards and implement and observe the Group Compliance Policy. 
•    Foster a compliance culture. The term ‘compliance’ embraces all relevant laws, rules and codes with which the business has to comply.

Requirements

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
• Good understanding of corporate banking.
• Knowledge of operational risks associated with the role.
• Awareness of the changing economic or market conditions, regulatory requirements in Payments ,and the impact of new technology.
• Keep abreast with evolving payments landscape and emerging technology associated with these changes
• Graduation degree is a must – to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit.
• Under the New Labour Law, only fixed term contracts shall be available to all employees of HSBC UAE (except DIFC and ADGM employees) – hence in line with the term of work permit, a 4 years’ contract would be issued.
