We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Product Manager.

Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will

• Manage end-to-end IPO (initial public offering) brokerage and related margin lending service for the self-directed clients in Hong Kong
• Grow HSBC market share in IPO brokerage and margin lending
• Turn data into actionable insights by understanding the client journey, pain points and commercial growth drivers
• Maintain up-to-date IBS (Important Business Service) process maps & business continuity plans
• Monitor SLAs (service level agreements) and lead client remediation when required
• Represent business on incident & client complaint matters
• Identify opportunities for processes re-engineering with internal and external service providers to improve service resilience and/or to deliver better client outcomes
• Develop and leverage positive working relationships with first and second-line teams across local, regional and global levels

To be successful you will need

• Degree from a top tier university
• Strong commercial awareness/orientation, with knowledge of self-directed trading platforms and emerging technologies
• Solid understanding of the regulatory environment applicable to the business, and best practices in operational risk management
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills demonstrating the ability to influence as well as develop strong and productive relationships with stakeholders in a matrix environment
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple demands, shifting priorities and tight timelines while maintaining high standards and attention to detail
• Critical thinker and is not afraid of challenging others’ ideas
