We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Product and IF Business Manager. 

Principal Responsibilities

  • Performance and Project Management:
    • Support the Global Chief Product and In-Force Management Officer to develop and implement product strategies that align with the company’s goals
    • Coordinate cross-functional projects related to product development, reinsurance and in-force management, ensuring timely execution and alignment with strategic objectives
    • Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and implement solutions to keep initiatives on track
    • Oversee preparation of regular reports and management summaries on product performance, product governance review workflow, reinsurance performance for senior management 
  • Executive Support:
    • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Global Chief Product and In-Force Management Officer, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements
    • Prepare and organize materials for meetings, presentations, and reports, ensuring timely and accurate information is available
    • Act as a liaison between the Chief Officer and internal/external stakeholders, facilitating communication and collaboration
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Foster a collaborative environment by working closely with various departments, including marketing, sales, compliance, and finance
    • Support the development of materials and resources for internal teams related to product solutions, success stories and lessons learnt for best practice sharing
Requirements
  • Minimum tertiary education in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Above four years of experience in an administrative role with international companies reporting directly to senior management. Experience in C-suite support and project management is preferred.
  • Experience in the insurance sector will be considered an advantage.
  • Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin), ability to read English and Chinese is a must.
  • Pleasant telephone demeanor.
  • Proficient in PC skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Fast learner and adaptable to a wide range of work procedures and operational guidelines (e.g. core HSBC approval systems).
  • Flexible team player with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills with a good sense of numeracy.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to organize and coordinate multiple concurrent assignments.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight schedules and pressure.
