The Opportunity:

What you’ll do:
Process Digitization & Automation (Operational Strategy):
- Partner with the COO, business management, and operational leads to identify inefficiencies, manual touchpoints, and digitization opportunities in day-to-day activities.
- Conduct root cause analysis and create process maps to highlight automation opportunities.
- Propose and prioritize automation use cases with clear ROI and implementation plans.
- Work with relevant teams to prototype and implement tools such as workflow automations, dashboard (Flask based)
- Track and report on benefits realized through digitization initiatives.
Strategic Full Stack Development (Technology Delivery):
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end applications and tools using full-stack development principles, with an emphasis on intuitive and high-performance front-end interfaces.
- Translate complex business requirements into functional technical solutions and create scalable and generic solutions.
- Build product oriented dashboards, visualizations, and workflow tools that support key business decisions and enhance operational transparency.
- Ensure applications meet security, scalability, and compliance requirements of the bank.
- Continuously improve software development practices, leveraging DevOps and cloud technologies
Requirements
What you will need to succeed in the role:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business process improvement and full stack development, preferably within a financial services environment.
- Strong programming skills in front-end technologies (ReactJS, AngularJS, Flask, HTML/CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Backend experience in Python; database knowledge (SQL, MongoDB).
- End-to-end development experience with a proven track record of managing successful releases to production.
- Proficient in Git, CI/CD tools, testing frameworks and API development/integration.
- Strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills.
- Experience with collaborative development tools (e.g., Jira, Agile methodologies).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of VBA
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
