We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Senior Business Manager – Regulatory Compliance
As Senior Business Manager, you will hold a vital role in helping the RC deliver against its objectives and working closely with the RC Executive committee members to help deliver against their key priorities and provide true value add.
In this role, you will: 
  • Act as ‘Trusted Advisor’ to the Group RC, Chief of Staff and ExCo across a whole range of areas, helping ensure that the function operates efficiently and effectively.
  • Support Regulatory Compliance to hit FRP targets and identify/ implement savings opportunities.
  • Maintain an accurate view of forecast spend, providing insights to drive management decisions.
  • Manage Headcount including the creation of Workforce Plans, management, and control of hiring approvals, and maintaining an accurate view of the FTE forecast, using Anaplan / HAT as the source of the ‘one version of the truth’.
  • Maintenance and governance of the Regulatory Compliance Blueprint which includes maintenance of the job catalogue in partnership with HR as well as ensuring business framework levels and cost centre structures are fit for purpose.
  • Support key strategic decisions on FTE spend against business commitments based on their understanding of the Regulatory Compliance strategy.
  • Support the creation of operational KPIs and SLAs and their use to drive insight and decision making including key People performance metrics.
  • Support the Senior Management team on other activities such as future state operating model and in key strategic decision making.

Requirements
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:  
  • Demonstrable results in delivering material success and results in terms of budgetary management, cost management and financial planning.
  • Demonstrable results in delivering performance improvement, successfully applying innovative thinking. 
  • Business Planning and financial management: Cost Optimisation, FRP, etc
  • Excellent collaboration and communication abilities to effectively work with other colleagues and stakeholders within the bank.
  • Ability to deliver a compelling story at senior levels on financials.
  • Good analytical skills.
The base location for this role is London – Hybrid working
