The Opportunity: 
Trading Solution aim at providing single front-to-back trading capability, enabling delivery of products and services across asset classes and scaling multi-market with a consistent user experience across the client continuum.
To cope with our expansion globally, we are now seeking experienced and self-motivated IT professionals to join our team as a associate technology project manager.
This role is party of DevOps team in Trading solutions and accountable for successful delivery of Technology projects and ensuring benefits realization. The role will hold most or all of these responsibilities and should have experience to actively manage and co-ordinate the programme roadmap, handling changes as they arise and keeping stakeholders focused on the agreed change outcomes and benefits in Program management areas and handling regional Projects. The role will also lead and streamline the change/release processes to better communicate and support.

 
What you’ll do: 
• Provide management to maintain a focus on how the project aligns to wider programme objectives, where appropriate, and to the change portfolio across HSBC
• Oversee the monitoring and reporting of progress, issues, dependencies, risks to the programme management, internal stakeholders and/or steering committees. Make recommendations to influence decision-making in order to maintain progress towards delivery and benefits realization
• Oversee process discipline and improvements in areas of expertise, such as: disciplined agile software delivery, production support processes, continuous DevOps pipelines development.
• Help in the development and running of the programme management office or project management practice.
• Ensure adherence to standard controls and drives teams to achieve compliance and framework, capability management, Security controls and technology architecture designs
• Establish effective governance and controls, in line with Business Transformation Framework and coordination of cross technology teams across infrastructure delivery as below.

Requirements

 What you will need to succeed in the role: 
• Essential knowledge of technology platforms and infrastructure (Server, Storage, Database, Networks, Cloud).
• Proven experience of delivering projects using industry standard project management methodologies e.g. Prince2, PMI, Agile etc. (Good to have certification).
• Proven decision maker and problem solver who can work independently and able to coordinate with different regional teams.
• Experience of working with virtual teams (located locally and remotely) across the globe will be an advantage.
• Experience in Banking and Finance domain (preferred, but not essential).
• Knowledge of Jira/Confluence will be a must.
• Project management certification will be added advantage
• Excellent oral and written in English/Mandarain and Cantonese and communicate with effective stakeholders management..
• 5-10 years of software development and project management experience, awareness of PM process and methodologies, Stakeholder and Risk Management, Reporting, having good negotiation skills.
• A highly-motivated individual with positive and pro-active attitude.
