The Opportunity:
This role is located in China, will work for GTS Receivables Finance. As platform capabilities are delivered, this role will form the core of the team responsible for releasing and supporting the live services and platform on which they reside. The Senior Consultant Specialist, Development role takes responsibility for delivery and consultancy of Commercial Banking IT projects. The job holder contributes in successful delivery of projects by providing technical / application guidance to project teams and providing guidance to multiple project teams. The responsibilities entail areas such as conducting feasibility studies, requirement analysis, design and development, technology update, knowledge sharing, as well as coding. The Senior Consultant Specialist should be aligned with group standards, IT and business strategy, meet business objectives and satisfy all relevant regulatory, architecture standards and operational risk.

Requirements
- At least 10 years of technical experience in PLEX, Java, J2EE, Spring, SQL, WAS, MQ, etc.
- Fluent English speaking and professional business writing skills.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and documentation skills.
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated with excellent time management skills and strong initiative.
- Able to work independently and effectively under pressure.
- Able to adapt in global team culture and communication in different locations.
- Good understanding and experience on SDLC, Agile and DevOps.
- Open-minded, reliable and independent.
