The Opportunity: 

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of IT Project Manager.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Provide 24x7 Leadership and On-call Support: Oversee production services, ensuring high availability and reliability. Act as the escalation point for critical incidents and ensure timely resolution.
  • Service Transition and Acceptance: Lead and coordinate implementation activities to ensure a seamless transition from development to production, adhering to service management best practices.
  • Incident and Problem Management:
  • Lead major incident response efforts, minimizing downtime and business impact.
  • Join and manage crisis calls, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and drive long-term fixes through structured problem management processes.
  • Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
  • Provide SME-level expertise in tools like AppDynamics and Splunk to monitor and enhance application performance.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize Java/Sprintboot/Microservices applications deployed on IKP.
  • Microservices Management:
  • Manage on-prem applications and support application migrations, ensuring seamless integration of microservices and REST APIs with platforms like Kubernetes.
  • Define and implement automation strategies to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define service management strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Team Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and mentor the service management team, providing guidance on best practices in production support & service management.

Requirements
      • HSBC Tier0/Tier1 service management experience is a plus.
      • Java based application experience is a plus.
      • Familiar with staff channel application, eg. MWS, Staff Tablet, etc.
      • Familiar with HSBC Mode 2 pipeline is a plus.
      • Customer related application experience is a plus.
