We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Manager Sales Distribution Risk.

The Senior Manager Sales Distribution Risk will support the Global Head of Channels & Commercialisation to ensure that Distribution Risk remains within Risk Appetite and to deliver good conduct outcomes for its customers, whilst delivering on the IWPB strategy and priorities.

In this role you will:

• Ensure that IWPB has effective processes in place to oversee distribution risks and controls across all IWPB markets
• Lead thematic Global and multi market Distribution Risk remediation activities
• Ensure that IWPB Group Customer Channels & Commercialisation has robust processes in place to manage read across activity, plus best practice sharing with IWPB markets
• Collaborate with colleagues including Data & Analytics to manage the provision of MI reporting to support effective oversight of risks and issues within WPB Group Customer Channels
• Manage the preparation & execution of Global Distribution Risk Committee meetings, and draft papers for global governance committees (for example Global IWPB Risk Management Meeting, Global Customer Risk Committee)

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

• Ability to collaborate strongly within matrix management structure
• Ability to manage competing priorities
• Strong analytical and project management skills
• Managing stakeholders across all three lines of defence
• Excellent understanding of HSBC’s risk management framework
