The US Marketing function is focused on supporting the strategic priorities of the HSBC US brand and CIB business. The function focuses on understanding our clients and identifying, developing and executing the Marketing strategy through campaigns, thought leadership, content and client engagement that strengthen the US Brand, and our Corporate and Institutional business at HSBC. This role will manage all activity within the CIB marketing portfolio, collaborating with key business and strategy teams. We are looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Senior Marketing Manager - Operations, Planning and Performance to support our marketing efforts within the US. This role focuses on aligning marketing plans with business priorities, local and global reporting including budget control and management, marketing effectiveness, and marketing governance and processes
As our Senior Marketing Manager - Operations, Planning & Performance you will:
Handle development, completion and approval of rolling Marketing plans, including proposed levels of spend for consideration
Interlock local plans with the global marketing planning process for CIB, ensuring alignment with regional business goals and growth opportunities
Translate commercial objectives into actionable marketing initiatives, identifying necessary resources and expected outcomes.
On-going evaluation of plans and budgets to ensure the resources required are in place and that markets and regions are in line with the overall frameworkLocal and global budget reporting shared with the regional team and fed into global updates, and any PO closure / sweeping of unused budget
Manage the regional budget and management of the platforms which connect to group monitoring
Collaborate with Global & Regional Finance and Business Management to align on forecasts and ROI frameworks
Input into global marketing performance dashboards linked to key business metrics such as client engagement, brand health, and campaign ROI
Setting, agreeing, monitoring and reporting on effectiveness and performance evaluation measures, driving the marketing effectiveness agenda and ensuring that marketing spend is optimal
Prepare regular reports for senior marketing and business leadership
For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $134,500.00 and $201,800.00
The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:
Extensive proven experience in marketing governance or planning roles within a financial services or B2B environment
Familiarity with marketing planning, investment modelling, and performance reporting
Understanding of the corporate & institutional banking landscape and related product lines
Strong analytical skills with knowledge of marketing KPIs and business metrics
Experience in complex organizations and collaboration across business and marketing leadership
Effective communicator with the ability to present insights to stakeholders
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at multiple levels
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field preferred.
