We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Product Manager, FX, P&FX, Retail Product.

Principal Responsibilities

This role is responsible for driving the business growth in Foreign Exchange (FX) business in Hong Kong retail space by enhancing customer experience, fulfilling customers' wealth and transactional needs with dedicated tactical and strategic product scheme and support ideation, development and drive execution of FX business strategies for business initiatives/projects under FX business.

  • Portrait as trusted business partner for business stakeholders, work with and support FX team head to deliver new FX business growth, shaping product roadmaps, optimize FX portfolio, setting priorities and driving development initiatives to achieve business objectives
  • As product leader working closely with D&A, formulating and implementing effective FX sales strategy with focus on customer life cycle management across different stages
  • Manage the full product lifecycle for transactional FX product, including commercialization and implementation, ensuring alignment with market needs and strategic objectives
  • Champion existing product journeys and features, ensuring that they are competitive delivering superb customer experience
  • Leading delivery of new product initiatives/capabilities to deliver distinct and leading product proposition through ideation, formulation of the cost-benefit case and P&L forecast, technical development management (business), planning and executing the commercialization and related activities
  • Develop value propositions that are commercially viable and develop business cases to justify strategic initiatives and secure approvals
  • Initiate and manage product reviews where required to ensure that the compliance related requirements are met and ensure all actions points arising are duly addressed
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis and monitor industry standards locally and internationally to identify gaps and opportunities for product innovation and improvement
  • Oversights of product managers/assistant managers with ability to motivate and guide the team to deliver exceptional results
  • Manage product management related activities and assume full ownership where assigned
Requirements
  • Degree holder preferably Business Admin, Finance, Business Consulting or related Major
  • Strategic thinker with exceptional execution ability delivering end-to-end result
  • Exceptional understanding of the Retail FX market with sound knowledge of market intelligence and capable of performing researches of the market state and landscape
  • Proven practical experience with 8yr+ experience in product management/sales management in retail banking FX is preferred
  • Payments (international and domestic) or transactional and FX market related knowledge is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong numeric and analytics skills, with a strong understanding of Wealth and Personal Banking objectives and values
  • Ability to cultivate a collaborative and cooperative working environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance in fast pace environment

This is vital role to support FX portfolio business and the business long term strategy.  The role is responsible to help driving new FX businesses, the pricing and growth strategy i.e. revenue and customer acquisition, through support in running various campaigns, lead/ idealise/ commericialise product development and features, and resolve day-to-day customer request/other BAU that can enhance customer satisfaction as appropriate.
