We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Product Manager, Wealth & Premier Solutions.

Principal Responsibilities

This role reports to the Head of Lending Acquisition, Wealth and Premier Solutions and is an integral part of HSBC’s International Wealth and Premier Banking business. The role is accountable for supporting the development of our acquisition strategy and driving acquisition activities across our mortgages, cards and personal loans businesses across global markets, particularly within Asia and the Middle East.  

In this role you will

  • Take full ownership of product delivery from ideation to post-launch stabilization, translating product roadmap priorities into actionable delivery plans, ensuring alignment with business timelines and commercial goals
  • Lead all aspects of product implementation including planning, design integration, drafting user stories, planning/budgeting, business readiness, operational enablement, and system configuration
  • Create analysis of customer journeys, current and future business process flow, and product functionality
  • Work directly with various stakeholders across multiple geographies, such as Product Owners, Business Analysts, Technology, and Digital teams to produce accurate delivery estimates and manage the transition from analysis through to design and delivery
  • Ensure risks and issues are identified and managed closely and remove project delivery blockers and contribute to post implementation reviews to demonstrate success and progress of projects
  • Develop various project documentation to stakeholders (e.g., Project Plan, Status Report, Implementation checkpoints, training document, user manual and communication)
  • Supporting the delivery production line (development, testing and implementation) ensuring digital deliverables meet business requirements and are fit for purpose to release to customers
  • Implement strong governance frameworks and issue escalation protocols to safeguard delivery timelines, budget, controls, and regulatory integrity. 

    Ensure all deliveries meet regulatory, risk, compliance, and audit requirements  

Requirements

To be successful you will need

  • Extensive experience defining the end-to-end Lending process, from Originations, through Fulfilment, Servicing and Collections
  • Excellent decision making and problem-solving ability; adept at managing ambiguity
  • Demonstration of commerciality with strong financial acumen in multi-cultural environment with global and market teams
  • Excellent understanding of Business Transformation Frameworks, Agile methodologies, and best practice technique
  • Excellent relationship building and senior stakeholder management skills; success in the role depends on working effectively with multiple stakeholders, including both internal and external stakeholders with varying degrees of knowledge and expertise
  • Effective consensus builder to ensure the appropriate buy-in and support from markets/regions and Global stakeholders and able to operate effectively in a complex matrix driven environment
