The Product Solutions and Strategic Execution Team is a global team of c100 FTEs supporting all Securities Services (SSv) products and is accountable for the governance, design, management, delivery and execution of all strategic product and service-related programmes and overarching governance of the Securities Services operating model in line with strategy and targets.

We are currently seeking a high calibre individual to join the team in the role of Senior Product Solutions Engineer.

The purpose of this role is to be responsible for collaboratively working with Product and Technology leadership teams to design product solutions and capabilities that balance a premium user experience, with simplicity and speed of development delivery.

In this role, you will:

•    Support the creation of a safe and collaborative community in Product Solutions that shares knowledge, ways of working, tools and techniques across teams, disciplines, management and delivery.
•    Seek opportunities for continuous improvement of business analysis and testing in our product development & software delivery methods and ways of working.
•    Support and champion diversity, equity, and inclusion within both the department and the wider company.
•    Work with our other teams to align our approaches and support the SSv strategy execution, utilising analysis and facilitation skills.
•    Seek continuous improvement in our product building capabilities by supporting and encouraging closer collaboration between the disciplines, other product teams, and stakeholders.
 

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following:

•    Previous experience as a Business Analyst with strong business analysis skills and the ability to identify different requirements would be highly advantageous
•    Proven background of working within change management with experience in design, technology, process and/or user journeys is ideal
•    Possess a data driven approach to managing change with an understanding of securities services products such as fund, private asset and/or custody being beneficial
•    Strong analytical skills and the ability to articulate problems with some product ownership and/or development exposure being preferred
•    Excellent communication, presentation skills and ability to influence across an organisation, motivate and negotiate with senior leaders and corporate partners.

The base location for this role is EDINBURGH.
