The role is responsible for managing, acquiring and growing profitable long-term relationships mostly with high net worth individual clients and some ultrahigh net worth with specific focus on Israeli market.

What you will do: 

The role is responsible for a holistic understanding of clients' needs, and providing full-service banking and all transactions for the ultra/high net worth clients through the marketing of all appropriate company services. Additionally, this role will deliver innovative high value solutions across all product lines, gaining significant business and sustainable returns for the wider Group and provide leadership to teams to support and deliver high net worth client performance against plan.

 

In this role you will:

The role holder will have client-facing responsibilities, which will include some or all of the following:

  • Grow revenues, increase AUM of portfolio and increase inflows of net new money (NNM).
  • Drive achievement against targets for revenue generation, product alignment, customer satisfaction and cost containment.
  • Generate new opportunities out of referrals from contacts to HNW and UHNW families and their respective family offices.
  • Provide full-service banking and all transactions to high-net-worth individual clients by the extension of credit and the marketing of company services.
  • Grow HSBC's share of client wallet involving product specialists to ensure product capabilities are in line with client/sector requirements working with the current relationship and representative officers
  • Identify event driven opportunities on an opportunistic basis, bringing in sector/country expertise as appropriate.
  • Provide support to client’s portfolio management- in close collaboration with the responsible Investment Counsellor.
  • Establish and maintain networks for co-operation with other HSBC businesses, to support the creation of solutions to customer needs that span geographical/product boundaries and regulatory environments.
  • Combine client relationship management with strong risk assessment and management capabilities ensuring the required credit quality & requisite returns on risk
  • Understand and ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which the jobholder is involved
  • Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators
  • Manage junior coverage staff to support and deliver client performance against plan
  • Regular contact and meetings with clients. This will be via zoom or personal meetings when possible. The bank has a strict travel policy which needs to be complied with.
  • Ensures client’s objectives are met through the portfolio allocation
  • Ensures clients are aware of their level of risk
  • Follows-up portfolios on a regular basis and develops client’s profitability
  • Lead by example through financial results with excellent corporate behavior       
Requirements
  • A solid relationship management experience in the banking sector banking with HNW segment clients, with significant experience in originating and serving Israel based HNW and UHNW clients and families.
  • A solid experience working with Israeli market.
  • Proven track record in asset gathering, asset growth and revenue generation
  • Excellent commercial and negotiation skills
  • Highly developed communication skills for use in direct client contact and problem solving
  • Ability to provide strong financial and statistical analysis.
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Attention to detail and the ability to think creatively to solve problems
  • Willingness to work in a target driven and high performance environment.
  • Excellent understanding of financial markets and products
  • Fluent in English
