We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Sales Business Manager. The base location for this role is London.

The Senior Sales Business Manager is responsible for enabling the Sales Operating Model & Strategy, reporting to the Global Head of Sales BM. This will include execution of the blueprint for GPS Sales strategy, regional coordination to successfully implement strategic initiatives and propositions, ongoing tracking and visibility on sales performance, upliftment of sales culture oriented towards complex solutions and delivering the right governance and risk management within the sales teams.

The role has a broad remit covering aspects of business strategy, business analytics and business performance management across the GPS sales business. The role demands are high, requiring the ability to navigate a complex management hierarchy and global & regional footprint, with challenging deliverables and timelines, working across different time zone.

In this role you will:

·         Drive execution of Sales operating model and & strategy, working with the Global head of sales business management with a focus on Corporate initiatives, and also support execution of the regional sales strategy with Regional Heads of Sales in USA (Corporate and Institutional).

·         Work across pillars of Governance, Reporting and Information, Engagement, Analytics and Propositions and Tactical Execution.

·         Ensure GPS Sales business meets growth targets as per the plan objectives. Develop & lead strategic initiatives and propositions, simplify process related improvements, track sales performance, drive a sales culture oriented towards complex solutions and deliver the right governance and risk management within the sales teams.

·         Facilitate and maintain a deep understanding of GPS Sales model, its key strengths and any potential or emerging gaps and develop priorities aligned to achievement of GPS sales objectives. Collaborate with the wider GPS organisation (Product, Service, Connectivity etc.) and CIB Coverage organisation to deliver client and sales requirements.

·         Drive extensive use of data and analytics to drive new business development and roll out and key growth programs in identification of opportunities/mitigants required to grow GPS Sales business and ensure regular business oversight of KPIs and success metrics, aligned to sales excellence culture.

·         Solve issues facing the business through connecting people, leveraging the network and providing expertise.

·         Work and lead initiatives & working groups which cut across regions and drive global innovation and best practices. Take a view to uplift across Corporate and Institutional sales business and support cross business cross region cross functional requirements.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

·         Prior client facing experience and hands on delivery of solutions from a transaction banking and corporate banking and network banking perspective.

·         Ability to work with large sets of data independently to driven insights and conceptualise new frameworks.

·         Track record of innovation, delivering high impact results in relation to business development, strategy, cross functional initiative execution and growth initiatives delivery.

·         Strong critical thinking and insight skills along with strong communication skills.

·         Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills that facilitates strong collaboration across business areas to deliver desired business outcomes and objectives along with the ability and confidence to work with internal senior management.

·         Able to work with a considerable degree of self-motivation, proactiveness, autonomy and pace on high priority deliverables

·         High levels of resilience, delivering under pressure to tight deadlines in a change oriented, fast paced environment.
