Following extensive investment across our Technology and Digital domains and with plans for continued expansion throughout 2020 and beyond, we are currently seeking a Digital Service Manager to join HSBC Technology.

The Opportunity:
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer role, is responsible for running the day to day Service Reliability Engineering process and provide best-in-class operational and technical application and systems support to HSBC digital customers and internal business functions.
This role will be working as part of a global support function across multiple regions including India, UK, NA and AP. The focus is on service stability for HSBCs Platform and Application estate working closely with our development teams to ensure the adoption of a DevOps model encouraging the teams to support their own applications and prioritize remediation and fixes above feature delivery.
What you’ll do:
- Ensuring availability of HK shift (8am-4pm)
- Daily pickup support from US shift and handover support to India shift
- Working with technical teams / application teams to ensure that root cause of incident is found and support from platform is provided for fix
- Closely monitor alert from production and provide active support during HK shift
- Closely monitor support requirement from alert channel to sit in and provide required support during HK shift
- Summarize runbook for India shift handover for ongoing incident
- Join global support team and provide ticket-based support
- Work as release engineering to support regular production release (mainly EU region)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and an ability to collaborate with different teams
- Skilled in multi-tasking and self-managing a diverse workload
- Experience of front-end development (html, JavaScript, etc.)
- Experience of working in Agile and knowledge of DevOps
- Good understanding of AWS cloud
- Good understanding of CI/CD
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager software/solution will be an added advantage
